Role Overview
The Assistant Manager - Human Resources supports the efficient running of the Human Resources department.
The role operates within the hotel's Human Resources Division and Personnel Department.
The position assists the Director of Human Resources or Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assist with department operations in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards.
- Help the department meet employee, guest, and owner expectations.
- Support the smooth and efficient running of the Personnel Department.
- Assist with implementing Hyatt's People Philosophy throughout the hotel.
Qualifications
- A university degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, or Hospitality/Tourism management is ideal.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Assistant Manager or HR Officer in a larger operation is required.
- Strong problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices is required.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent development is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems is required.
