Entity: WIN Job Title: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager– Central Production Engineering Department (CPED) Grade: WIN F1, WIN E , WIPRO WATER B2 Business Unit: Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (Hydraulics) Department: Central Production Engineering Department (CPED)
Role Description:
Responsible for planning, execution, and support of electrical, electronics, automation, and retrofit projects across manufacturing operations. The role involves machine automation, PLC programming, electrical system design, project execution, maintenance improvement initiatives, and coordination with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Additionally, the role involves:
Planning and execution of electrical and electronics scope for new and retrofit projects.
Engineering automation initiatives for manufacturing facilities.
PLC logic design, programming, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Designing and troubleshooting electrical circuits, control panels, and automation systems.
Preparing project schedules, RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Coordinating with manufacturing, maintenance, vendors, and project stakeholders for successful project implementation.
Supporting installation, testing, commissioning, and performance validation of systems.
Driving machine reconditioning, retrofitment, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with EHS requirements and applicable engineering standards.
