About the Role
Yellow Door Energy is seeking an Assistant Manager for Client & Commercial Asset Management to support post-commissioning management of solar energy assets in the UAE. Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers post commissioning, supporting strong relationships, timely communication and issue resolution
- Coordinate customer related matters, including billing queries, receivables follow up, customer securities, invoicing support and contractual obligations
- Track asset performance, generation performance, operational events, downtime and incidents with potential commercial, contractual or customer impact
- Work closely with O&M and technical teams to understand asset performance issues, resolution plans, timelines and customer updates
- Coordinate with Finance on receivables, billing status, payment follow ups, budget versus actual updates and financial reporting inputs
- Support lender reporting and compliance for financed assets, including DSCR calculations, covenant tracking, debt service obligations, insurance requirements and reporting deadlines
- Prepare and coordinate portfolio reports, customer updates, receivables summaries, asset summaries and compliance submissions
- Work cross functionally with Finance, Legal, Insurance, O&M, technical teams and senior management to resolve matters impacting customers, asset performance or contractual compliance
- Identify commercial risks, customer concerns and value enhancement opportunities across the portfolio
- Contribute to continuous improvement of client management, reporting, internal coordination and ways of working
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or a related discipline
- 5–7 years of experience in client relationship management, account management, aftersales, commercial operations, service delivery coordination, contract management, asset management or a similar commercially focused role
- Experience working in renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, facilities management, engineering services, energy services or another asset intensive environment
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness, with ability to understand billing, receivables, contractual obligations, performance issues and risk
- Experience working with long term customer contracts, service agreements, leases, PPAs, infrastructure agreements or similar commercial arrangements
- Strong Excel, reporting and coordination capability
- Ability to manage multiple customers, assets, priorities and time sensitive stakeholder requirements
- Clear, professional communication skills and confidence working with both internal and external stakeholders

About the Role
- We are looking for an Assistant Manager Client & Commercial Asset Management to support the post commissioning management of Yellow Door Energy’s operational asset portfolio in the UAE.
- This is an HQ based, commercially focused, client facing role sitting at the intersection of customer relationship management, commercial coordination, contractual follow up, asset performance tracking and internal stakeholder management.
- Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will work closely with customers, O&M, Finance, Legal, Insurance and senior management.
What You’ll Deliver & Own

What You Must Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in client relationship management, account management, aftersales, commercial operations, service delivery coordination, contract management, asset management or a similar commercially focused role.
- Experience working in renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, facilities management, engineering services, energy services or another asset intensive environment.
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations, follow up on actions and coordinate across multiple teams.
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to understand billing, receivables, contractual obligations, performance issues and risk.
- Experience working with long term customer contracts, service agreements, leases, PPAs, infrastructure agreements or similar commercial arrangements.
- Strong Excel, reporting and coordination capability.
- Ability to manage multiple customers, assets, priorities and time sensitive stakeholder requirements.
- Clear, professional communication skills and confidence working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong Advantage
- Experience with solar PV, distributed energy, C&I infrastructure or energy as a service business models.
- Exposure to O&M coordination, technical service delivery, post commissioning customer support or asset performance follow up.
- Experience supporting financed assets, lender reporting, covenant compliance or DSCR calculations.
- Experience coordinating across Finance, Legal, O&M, technical, insurance and commercial teams.
- Working understanding of generation performance, asset performance drivers, downtime, deemed energy or customer facing performance issues.
- Experience preparing customer updates, portfolio reports, receivables analysis, compliance submissions or asset performance summaries.
