Brezo Lounge is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to support the General Manager and lead the team in a busy hospitality venue.
The role is suited to an experienced hospitality Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor.
What you’ll do
- Lead opening, closing and weekend shifts, including pre-shift briefings, delegation and team motivation.
- Coach team members through regular and honest feedback.
- Support the General Manager with rotas, stock, labour, NPS, sales and gross profit.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and maintain allergen and food safety standards.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new starters.
- Be a visible, welcoming host and help strengthen the lounge’s local community reputation.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a restaurant, bar, café or coffee shop as a Supervisor, Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Confidence running a shift end-to-end, including pre-shift briefings, cash management and customer complaints.
- A hands-on, people-focused approach with the ability to lead by example on the floor.
- The ability to understand rotas, stock, labour and hospitality KPIs.
Pay and contract
- Salary is £33,200 to £36,000 per year, plus bonus, tips and paid overtime.
- The role is permanent and full-time, with a 48-hour contract and a 40-hour contract option.
