About the Role

- Plan, manage, and oversee statutory and internal audit engagements in accordance with ISA
- Prepare audit strategies, budgets, timelines, and resource plans
- Review audit working papers, risk assessments, and audit conclusions
- Finalize audit reports and management letters and present findings to client management
- Review and supervise preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters
- Oversee monthly and quarterly management reporting assignments
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax law, ESR, and AML/CFT requirements
- Act as main point of contact for assigned clients and build long term relationships
- Lead, mentor, and supervise audit and accounting teams
- Assist partners with proposal preparation and tender submissions
- Identify opportunities for cross selling audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 3 years of relevant experience in audit and accounting
- At least 1 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Prior experience in a UAE audit firm is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Client focused with good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in accounting and audit software
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines

Job Purpose
- To manage audit and accounting engagements, ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations, lead engagement teams, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high quality audit and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities Audit & Assurance
- Plan, manage, and oversee statutory and internal audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Prepare audit strategies, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
- Review audit working papers, risk assessments, and audit conclusions.
- Ensure timely completion of audit engagements within agreed budgets.
- Finalize audit reports and management letters and present findings to client management.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Review and supervise preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS / IFRS for SMEs.
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly management reporting assignments.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance (UAE)
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, UAE Corporate Tax law, Economic Substance Regulations (ESR), and AML/CFT requirements relevant to audit firms.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and free zone entities when required.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain long term client relationships.
- Address client queries and provide practical, value added solutions.
- Support partners in client meetings and presentations.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and supervise audit and accounting teams.
- Review team performance and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct on the job training and technical development sessions.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of staff as required.
Key Responsibilities Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and quality standards (ISQM 1).
- Identify engagement risks and escalate issues to partners when necessary.
- Participate in internal and external quality reviews.
Key Responsibilities Business Development
- Assist partners with proposal preparation and tender submissions.
- Identify opportunities for cross selling audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services.
- Contribute to firm growth and client retention initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience Education & Professional Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent (mandatory).
Qualifications & Experience Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in audit and accounting.
- At least 1–2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Prior experience in a UAE audit firm is highly preferred.
