Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts Payable to manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations for the India Finance function. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate processing of vendor transactions, timely payments, compliance with GST and TDS regulations, vendor reconciliations, audit support, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, PO matching, vendor reconciliations, and timely payment execution.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including invoice validation, ITC reconciliation (GSTR-2A/2B), and RCM accounting.
- Oversee TDS compliance by ensuring accurate deduction, accounting, reconciliations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment or reconciliation-related queries efficiently.
- Prepare AP ageing reports, MIS, and other finance-related reports as required.
- Support statutory, tax, and internal audits by providing accurate documentation and schedules.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls within the Accounts Payable function.
