Role Purpose
Support the project in-charge by completing allocated highway project tasks and activities.
Ensure excavation, layering, utility installation, and related work are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality.
Support supervisors and subcontractors with materials and machinery needed for site deliverables.
Project Planning and Performance
- Manage project staff according to established organizational policies and practices.
- Guide supervisors and subcontractors in reading drawings, excavation, layering, utility installation, and other assigned activities.
- Assign and examine tasks performed by subordinate teams and technical staff.
- Report project progress to senior personnel and request necessary support or inputs.
Project Delivery
- Review site progress regularly and identify deviations from the schedule.
- Review site schedules with authorities and senior management through daily progress reports and RFIs.
- Ensure site deliverables are completed on time and at the required quality level.
- Work with senior personnel to identify suitable solutions to project-cycle concerns.
