Support the Branch Manager with day-to-day operations of a supermarket.
Lead staff and manage store operations efficiently while supporting sales and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily supermarket operations and take charge of the branch when the Branch Manager is absent.
- Supervise and motivate staff, manage work allocation, and monitor discipline, attendance, and grooming.
- Monitor sales, stock availability, expiry dates, wastage, product displays, pricing, promotions, and cleanliness.
- Manage stock receiving, transfers, replenishment, inventory control, stock checks, and stock-taking.
- Ensure customer service standards and handle complaints professionally.
- Control operational expenses and minimize product wastage and losses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene, and municipality requirements.
- Prepare daily operational reports and coordinate with Head Office, HR, Accounts, Purchasing, and other departments.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of supermarket or retail experience.
- Previous Assistant Manager, Department Manager, or Senior Supervisor experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supermarket operations, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
- Good leadership, staff-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with POS or retail systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales and operational targets.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

- Pay is AED 2,000–3,000 per month.
