Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities include

• Assist in monitoring and enforcing store compliance to all Bapcor safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
• Liaise with the Store Manager to achieve plans and actions aimed at achieving sales and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the store.
• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance management and leadership capabilities within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of customers and actively engage with store employees to ensure alignment with customer service standards and Bapcor's expectations.
• Lead by example in demonstrating a solid commitment to Bapcor's customer service excellence in all interactions with customers, both internally and externally.
• Execute assigned financial and administrative responsibilities as instructed by the Store Manager, aligning tasks with individual experience and developmental goals.
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a tidy and organized store environment.
• About you:
• Progressing towards a Diploma or Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in managing time effectively and communicating clearly.
• Intermediate skills in leadership and managing people.
• Intermediate competence in customer service, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Intermediate skills in business financial management, including understanding Profit & Loss (P&L), margins, and account management.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements, including incident response
