Role Overview
The Lana by Dorchester Collection is hiring an Assistant Lobby Lounge Manager in the United Arab Emirates.
The role leads the day-to-day operation of the lobby lounge and supports a high-end guest experience.
The position includes responsibility for afternoon tea service, team development, revenue, costs, and outlet standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily lobby lounge operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Oversee signature afternoon tea service, including tea knowledge, brewing rituals, and luxury service etiquette.
- Source, hire, mentor, and develop the team through structured training and development.
- Monitor and exceed revenue targets while controlling beverage, payroll, and other costs.
- Conduct daily pre-service briefings to keep the team informed about hotel and lounge activity.
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
- Optimize lounge and afternoon tea reservations for productivity, guest satisfaction, and revenue.
- Ensure beverage preparation, presentation, and inventory control meet required standards.
