About the Role
Sharaka Holdings is hiring an Assistant Learning & Development Manager to plan, implement, and oversee L&D programs. The role partners with department heads to identify training needs, manage budgets, ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, and foster continuous learning.

Responsibilities
- Identify training and development needs by collaborating with Department Heads and support the implementation of the property's annual training plan
- Develop, manage, and monitor the annual Learning & Development (L&D) calendar, training budget, and related reports
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and mandatory brand training programs for all new associates
- Plan, organize, and monitor on the job training to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational objectives
- Deliver property wide training programs, including leadership, supervisory, and professional development courses
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure associates complete required training hours in line with brand standards
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the effectiveness of training programs and learning initiatives
- Develop and support departmental trainers while promoting a culture of continuous learning and development
- Coordinate management trainee programs and provide guidance to ensure successful completion of development plans
- Build partnerships with government agencies, educational institutions, and external training providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Previous experience in a Marriott property or strong knowledge of Marriott Learning & Development and brand standards is highly preferred

Role Overview

Qualifications & Experience
