Responsibilities
- Assist in leading and managing all laundry operations, ensuring seamless day to day performance
- Drive departmental productivity while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Oversee the processing of hotel linens, uniforms, guest laundry, and specialty items in accordance with brand standards
- Manage, coach, and develop the laundry team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and succession planning initiatives
- Monitor departmental KPIs, productivity reports, and quality control measures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure proper maintenance and optimal utilization of laundry equipment and facilities
- Manage inventory levels, chemical usage, and operating supplies while controlling costs and minimizing waste
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Rooms Division, and other departments to ensure operational excellence
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial performance management
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations
- Lead by example in delivering Forbes Five Star service standards and operational excellence
Requirements
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience within a luxury hotel laundry operation is essential
- Strong understanding of commercial laundry operations, fabric care, textile management, and laundry technologies
- Proven leadership experience with ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams
- Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance management
- Excellent organizational, planning, and decision making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced luxury hospitality environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
- Detail oriented with strong focus on quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction

The Role
- We’re looking for an experienced and results driven Assistant Laundry Manager to join one of Doha’s most dynamic hospitality destinations.
