Assistant Kitchen Manager (Temporary / Fixed-term)

The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy nutritious school meals at lunchtime, which is compliant with the Food and Nutrient standards set by the Welsh Government’s Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013. In addition to this, we also provide a high quality Buffet/Function service to our schools, Café at the Penarth Pier Pavilion, weddings, external customers and companies. Pay Details: Grade 4, SCP 6-7 £26,847 - £27,274 Pro Rata Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5 Days – 30 hrs per week, term time only Main Place of Work: Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg Temporary Reason: Covering long term sickness Description: The Big Fresh Catering Company is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager. Number of meals served on site: approximately 1000 daily

Applicants will be responsible for the daily running of the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager and should preferably have experience of large scale catering.
