About the Role
The Assistant IT Manager role owns day-to-day IT administration, identity and access controls, device management, SaaS access, basic security operations, and implementation of an 180-day security roadmap.
The role works with employees, leadership, and external vendors to keep systems, devices, and access secure and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Manage onboarding, access changes, and offboarding throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Manage device procurement, configuration, inventory, and MDM operations.
- Govern passwords, MFA, shared accounts, and RBAC-based access reviews.
- Coordinate SaaS platforms and security tooling with external vendors.
- Maintain IT policies and documentation and provide practical employee support.
- Coordinate basic incident response, including assessment, resolution support, and escalation.
