Role Overview
The Assistant IT Manager reports to the Director of Finance.
The role leads daily IT operations and supports system uptime across hotel operations.
The position works closely with the Regional IT Team on brand compliance and system updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily IT department operations.
- Ensure seamless technical support and system uptime across hotel operations.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for staff and guest technical issues.
- Resolve technical and operational incidents promptly to protect the guest experience.
- Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and hands-on troubleshooting.
- Maintain records and inventory for hardware, software licenses, manuals, and other IT assets.
- Ensure IT records support compliance and audit readiness.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required, or equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- The candidate should have 2–3 years of IT experience within the hospitality industry.
- Hands-on exposure to OPERA Cloud PMS, MICROS Simphony Cloud POS, Aruba networking, and PBX systems is required.
- The role requires effective task prioritization and management of multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A service-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and independent approach to problem-solving is required.
Work Environment
- The role supports IT infrastructure, network systems, and hospitality software across hotel operations.
- The source metadata identifies the workplace as onsite in Dubai.
