Responsibilities
- Support the Front Office Manager in day to day management of Front Office operations including Reception, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Communications
- Lead, coach, and motivate the Front Office team to deliver outstanding guest service
- Ensure smooth arrival, departure, and in house guest experiences while maintaining luxury brand standards
- Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor daily operations, room availability, occupancy, and revenue opportunities in collaboration with Reservations and Revenue teams
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, cash handling procedures, and operational standards
- Assist with colleague training, performance management, scheduling, and succession planning
- Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Prepare operational reports and support achievement of departmental KPIs
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager or seasoned Duty/Guest Relations Manager within a luxury 5 star hotel
- Fluent German speaking skills
- Strong understanding of Front Office operations and luxury guest service standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Experience using hotel property management systems (Opera Cloud or Opera PMS preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with ability to perform in a fast paced environment
- Commercial awareness with understanding of revenue optimisation and guest satisfaction metrics
- Fluency in English is essential
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
