The Assistant Director of Sales Government and Royal Affairs supports the Director of Sales in driving hotel commercial strategy and revenue performance.
The role focuses on government, royal, diplomatic, and strategic institutional accounts across Saudi Arabia.
The role develops relationships and converts high-value business opportunities across government, royal, diplomatic, VIP, corporate, MICE, and high-profile event segments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Sales with the annual Government and Royal Affairs sales strategy, business plan, account plans, and revenue objectives.
- Own the day-to-day development and management of key government, royal, diplomatic, and strategic institutional accounts.
- Develop relationships with ministries, authorities, royal offices, embassies, diplomatic missions, and government-related organizations.
- Identify senior decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to convert them into long-term recurring revenue.
- Lead sales activities, account development, prospecting, relationship management, contract negotiations, and business conversion.
Market Focus
- The assigned market includes government entities, royal offices, ministries, authorities, embassies, diplomatic missions, sovereign and strategic organizations, and government-related companies.
- The role targets government, royal, diplomatic, VIP, corporate, MICE, and high-profile events business.
Requirements
- Experience developing and managing government, royal, diplomatic, and strategic institutional accounts.
- Ability to build relationships with ministries, government authorities, royal offices, embassies, diplomatic missions, and strategic organizations.
- Ability to identify senior decision-makers and influencers and establish long-term commercial relationships.
- Experience identifying and converting high-value business opportunities into recurring revenue.
- Ability to manage prospecting, account development, relationship management, contract negotiations, and business conversion.
