Assistant Design Manager

As an Assistant Design Manager, you'll be working within the Southern Water Services team, supporting them in delivering engineering design excellence across water and wastewater projects. Your day to day will include:

Supporting the management of engineering design delivery for assigned projects, ensuring quality and compliance

Collaborating with engineering teams and design consultants to develop technically sound and economically efficient solutions

Contributing to Engineering Project Plans covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources

Working with project teams to identify opportunities for innovation, affordability, and sustainable design

Supporting compliance with CDM Regulations and managing design-related health and safety considerations

This role of Assistant Design Manager is great for you if:

You're working towards a professional qualification (Chartered Engineer) with a degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience

You have relevant engineering design, construction, and management experience

You possess excellent communication skills and can explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
