- Part of a multi functional PMC/Construction team responsible for delivering a large number of varied infrastructure projects in accordance with the client's requirements
- Managing key stakeholder interfaces which will include all departments within the client organization as well as other government departments
- Overall construction (PMC) management and control
- Monitoring contractors for compliance with their contractual responsibilities
- Monitoring progress of the construction for compliance with schedule from an PMC perspective
- Ensure delivery of projects to time, cost and quality and ensuring highest standards of Health & Safety are achieved
- Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximise opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum qualification BSc, BEng (in electrical or mechanical engineering) or equivalent
- 15 years' experience with 8 being similar to this project/role
- Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multi functional projects
- Excellent knowledge of construction techniques as well project controls procedures, quality and health & safety
- Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures

- AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for a degree qualified Assistant Construction Manager with around 15 years experience. This person must be forward thinking and experienced in running large, multi disciplined site teams.
Your Role
- Part of a multi functional PMC/Construction team responsible for delivering a large number of varied infrastructure projects in accordance with the client's requirements

About You
- The Asst. Construction Manager will be a qualified professional who is currently working at senior level and is capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects
- Minimum qualification BSc, BEng (in electrical or mechanical engineering) or equivalent, and 15 years' experience with 8 being similar to this project/role
- An experienced Asst. Construction Manager with a demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multi functional projects
- Excellent knowledge of construction techniques as well project controls procedures, quality and health & safety
- A 'rounded profile', comfortable with planning, analysis and managing process and commercial considerations
- Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients and internally
