Position Overview

Qualification and Experience
- A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Histopathology
- Must be having a Medical Degree/MBBS
- Must qualify for MOH License as a Consultant Histopathologist

Teaching Responsibilities
- Engage in education of undergraduate, graduate and professional students
- Conduct each course in general conformity with content, format, and official description
- Contribute toward development of rubrics for assessments
- Provide students with formative evaluation feedback
- Develop in students the free pursuit of learning
- Prepare teaching aids, instruction materials for laboratory practical and clinical sessions
- Provide instructions for practical and non lecture based activities
- Record attendance
- Prepare and present lectures or laboratory assignments
- Review course content and ensure it is current
- Write and administer tests and exams
- Maintain office hours for student advice and curriculum development planning
Research Responsibilities
- Participate in academic and scholarly research activities
- Publications in recognized journals, books, or citations of his/her work
Service Responsibilities
- Effective participation in Committees at college and university levels
- Contribute to faculty development activities and continuous education programs
- Service to community through short courses, workshops, seminars, etc.
- Establishment of cooperation with the industry and other institutions
