KFUPM's Chemistry Department invites applications for faculty positions.
Openings cover physical, organic, analytical, inorganic, and industrial chemistry.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate chemistry courses.
- Advise and mentor students.
- Supervise master's and Ph.D. theses or dissertations.
- Develop a funded research program appropriate to the candidate's specialization.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction.
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold an earned Ph.D. from a reputable institution.
- Applicants must have a strong record of published research.
- Applicants must have experience supervising graduate research.
- Applicants must have relevant university-level teaching experience.
- Applicants must have teaching and/or industrial experience in the relevant specialization.
- Applicants must be fluent in English, the university's medium of instruction.
Contract and Compensation
- The position is offered on a two-year renewable contract.
- Compensation includes competitive tax-free salaries based on qualifications and experience.
- Benefits include furnished on-campus housing, essential utilities, maintenance, medical insurance, and transportation support.
- Additional benefits include air tickets, dependent tuition support, paid summer leave, and end-of-service gratuity after two years.
