Position Overview
Blossom Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support accounting operations in Dubai.
The role requires knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, corporate tax, reporting, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support VAT filings and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and manage vendor reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll, expense claims, and internal audits.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least three years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or SAP.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 2,800 to AED 4,500 per month.
Workplace
- The position is based in Dubai and requires in-person work.
