Role Overview
Support accounting operations in Dubai as an experienced Assistant Accountant.
Apply UAE accounting practices, tax compliance knowledge, and hands-on reporting and reconciliation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support VAT filings and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and manage vendor reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll, expense claims, and internal audits.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- At least three years of accounting experience in the UAE is required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or SAP is required.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws is required.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 2,800 to AED 4,500 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is Dubai.
- Work is performed in person.
