Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role based in Dubai as an Assistant Accountant.
Key responsibilities include managing financial records, supporting the preparation of financial statements, processing invoices, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in budget tracking and variance analysis.
The Assistant Accountant will also support auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
While the role is based in Dubai, occasional remote work is possible.
Qualifications
- Expertise in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation
- Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Strong skills in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with local tax regulations and financial compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, paired with excellent organizational proficiency
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Prior experience in a similar role; accounting credentials like CPA/ACCA/PFA are advantageous
- Ability to work both in-office and remotely as required, ensuring the timely delivery of tasks
