Develop asset investment plans that balance risk, performance, affordability, and regulatory expectations
Translate corporate objectives into long-term asset class strategies and intervention plans
Lead whole-life cost analysis and asset risk assessments to support investment decisions
Produce robust business cases and engineering justifications for regulatory and internal approvals
Secure capital funding through clear, evidence-based investment proposals
Collaborate with engineering, finance, regulation, and specialist teams to align investment priorities
Drive continuous improvement and increase asset management maturity across the organisation
This role would suit someone who enjoys turning complex information into clear decisions and can confidently influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
Knowledge of asset management principles and experience supporting asset-based investment decisions
Experience developing business cases, investment proposals, or capital investment plans
Ability to undertake asset risk assessments and evaluate intervention options
Experience using whole-life cost analysis and value-based decision-making techniques
Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical and financial data
Effective stakeholder management skills and experience coordinating contributions from multiple specialists
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a wide range of audiences
Qualification in Asset Management or a related discipline
Working towards Asset Management Professional status or equivalent professional recognition
Experience within regulated infrastructure, utilities, energy, engineering, or asset-intensive industries
Knowledge of regulatory business planning and funding submissions
Understanding of strategic asset planning within critical infrastructure environments
