Assembly Technician - Hydraulic/Pneumatic

You'll be joining a talented, welcoming and collaborative team and will be responsible for the assembly, test and inspection of various hydraulic/pneumatic instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies as well as high-level technical build.

As Assembly Technician you'll effectively interpret and utilise assembly and engineering drawing/specifications. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that all assembly, test functions are completed to the necessary quality standards – they meet contractual customer expectations and conformance to enable progression to final inspection and release.

It's also crucial in this role that you a dhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures.

You'll possess relevant experience working in a similar role, ideally within Aviation/Aerospace however this is not essential. You'll have no problem reading and interpreting engineering drawings and will be have experience in working with hydraulic/pneumatic components.

You'll have worked with measurement equipment in the past such as Verniers, Micrometres and will have excellent hand-eye coordination. You'll be able to work both independently and also as part of a team whilst possessing excellent prioritisation skills.
