Position Summary
The Assembly Operator is responsible for producing high-quality finished products through the assembly, inspection, and operation of manufacturing equipment.
This position supports production objectives by operating automated and manual equipment, monitoring product quality, handling materials, and maintaining accurate production records.
The Assembly Operator works across multiple workstations and product lines, follows standardized work instructions, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing environment.
The role requires flexibility to rotate among various assembly processes, equipment, and production areas as business needs require.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of and comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements to support a safe and productive work environment.
- Assemble components into finished products ready for shipment.
- Setup and adjust production machinery in accordance with operational requirements and quality standards.
- Sort, inspect, and rework nonconforming materials to ensure compliance with production and quality specifications.
- Run and monitor automated assembly and inspection equipment, including welders, presses, and vision sorting systems, while maintaining established quality and productivity standards.
