Role Overview
The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, integrate, and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions across the business.
The role covers the AI development lifecycle from prototyping and experimentation through production deployment, monitoring, optimization, and ongoing improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI applications end-to-end, from prototype to production.
- Direct AI coding agents to generate code while owning architecture, security, and maintainability.
- Build agent workflows on foundation models.
- Integrate AI into products and backend services.
- Build evaluation, testing, and monitoring for quality, safety, latency, and cost.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and make build-versus-buy recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or information technology.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including AI/ML applications in production.
- Experience with LLM APIs and generative AI patterns including prompting, tool calling, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Language Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
- A second language is desirable.
