About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production and delivery of work packages including technical instructions, resource and materiel requirements
- Provide planning and oversight to additional and emergent work during maintenance
- Ensure all off aircraft maintenance work is performed to approved data and quality standards
- Report to Deputy Depth Maintenance Manager for organisation, administration, control and efficiency of Part 145 Bay Operations
- Think and plan tactically to respond to changing environment in terms of customer and product changes
- Interact with customer and Qatari Air Force support staff
- Provide Information, Statistics and Data as required for input to Operational Performance Review
- Undertake direct management responsibility and Performance and Development
- Ensure maintenance activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained
- Review and report on effectiveness of maintenance task performance in AGE and escalate issues
- Maintain control and oversight of QAF consolidation including logbook progression
- Provide input to Continuous Improvement activities to improve schedule effectiveness of AGE maintenance

- Experience in Armament & AGE trades
- Experience in Part 145 maintenance environment
- Ability to plan and schedule maintenance events
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to interact with customer and Qatari Air Force support staff

Role Overview
- The Armaments, Avionics & Survival Equipment Workshop Controller is responsible for ensuring all off aircraft maintenance work is performed to approved data and quality standards.
- Reports to the Deputy Depth Maintenance Manager for organisation, administration, control and efficiency of Part 145 Bay Operations.
- Requires high level understanding of Armament & AGE trades and ability to think and plan tactically.
