- Lead and manage production and delivery of work packages including technical instructions and resource requirements
- Ensure all off aircraft maintenance work is performed to approved data and quality standards
- Plan maintenance events through effective scheduling and optimization of Part 145 maintenance facilities
- Provide planning and oversight for additional and emergent work during maintenance
- Ensure maintenance activities are documented and airworthiness records are maintained
- Compile reporting and escalate issues as appropriate
- Maintain control and oversight of QAF consolidation including logbook progression
- Provide input to Continuous Improvement activities
Requirements
- High level understanding of Armament & AGE trades
- Experience in Part 145 maintenance operations
- Ability to plan and schedule maintenance events
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory framework and airworthiness standards
- Experience with Qatari Air Force or similar customer interaction

Role Overview
- The Armaments, Avionics & Survival Equipment Workshop Controller is responsible for ensuring all off aircraft maintenance work is performed to approved data and quality standards.
- Reports to the Deputy Depth Maintenance Manager for organisation, administration, control and efficiency of Part 145 Bay Operations.
- Requires high level understanding of Armament & AGE trades and ability to think and plan tactically.
- High level of interaction with QAF support staff.
Core Activity
- Leading and managing production and delivery of associated work packages.
- Provide planning and oversight to additional and emergent work during maintenance.
- Ensure statement of work is updated and re authorised to reflect changes.
- Ensure all off aircraft maintenance work is performed to approved data and quality standards.
- Provide Information, Statistics and Data for Operational Performance Review.
- Undertake direct management responsibility and Performance and Development.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained.
- Compile required reporting, identify issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Review and report on effectiveness of maintenance task performance in AGE.
- Maintain effective relationships with Fleet Planning, Demand Management, etc.
- Maintain control and oversight of QAF consolidation including logbook progression.
- Provide input to Continuous Improvement activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure effective management of Regulatory activities by setting delivery targets and monitoring progress.
- Prioritise activities within/across teams to maximise efficiency.
- Assess escalated issues for impact on Continuing Airworthiness and generate resolution.
- Comply with Regulatory Framework and Company procedures.
- Ensure maintenance activities are compliant with Governance and Assurance framework.
- Support response to audit findings and implement improvements.
- Manage CAA system within Airworthiness Records.
- Demonstrate understanding of Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory Framework.
- Comply with all applicable contractual requirements.
