Lead last-mile operations for Amazon Now's 15-minute delivery service in Saudi Arabia.
Manage a complex, multi-channel delivery network using delivery service partners and third-party carriers.
Lead operations across multiple sites or dark stores with a team of Area Managers.
Key responsibilities
- Drive safety, people, quality, customer experience and speed, productivity, costs, and environmental performance.
- Support project execution across multiple functions and resolve issues between stakeholders.
- Hold functional teams accountable for deliverables and share best practices with other countries.
- Maintain health and safety standards while promoting a strong on-site safety culture.
- Measure performance, provide feedback, and support team development.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize operations, productivity, and costs.
- Plan for three-, six-, and twelve-month horizons, with a focus on peak-season readiness.
- Prepare leadership updates, Monthly Business Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Establish metrics for safety, quality, cost, productivity, and customer experience.
- Use data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Analyze performance, implement corrective actions, standardize shift processes, and improve customer service.
Basic qualifications
- At least 1 year of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or at least 2 years of Amazon blue-badge/FTE experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, shift, and work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products weighing up to 100 pounds during shifts.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, VLOOKUP, VBA, and data links.
