Take complete ownership of engineering decisions, deliverables, and overall area performance throughout the project lifecycle Lead all piping engineering activities within the assigned plant area, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and adherence to project schedules. Ensure all activities within the assigned area are executed in accordance with applicable procedures, standards, and project requirements. Develop equipment layouts and critical piping studies to establish optimum equipment locations and the overall area configuration. Review and validate study piping layouts in collaboration with piping designers before proceeding with detailed layout development, stress analysis, 3D modelling, and issue-for-design activities. Provide regular technical guidance and direction to engineers, designers, draftsmen, and 3D modelers assigned to the area. Coordinate with 3D Modelling, Stress Analysis, Specification, and MTO teams, ensuring timely availability of engineering inputs from the assigned area. Review and assess key engineering inputs received from the Client for their applicability within the assigned area. Review/Comment vendor packages and ensure their integration and alignment with piping layout and 3D model requirements Manage engineering interfaces and ensure timely exchange of inputs and outputs among all relevant disciplines. Ensure that layouts and models comply with statutory, process, safety, operability, accessibility, and maintenance requirements. Monitor and drive the timely completion and quality of area deliverables, including layouts, models, isometrics, supports, MTOs, specifications, and stress-related outputs. Track area progress against planned milestones, deliverables, and man-hour budgets, and initiate corrective actions wherever required. Review engineering documents, drawings, and checklists in accordance with applicable Company procedures and project requirements. Implement HSSE requirements and design safety principles in all engineering activities within the assigned area. Adequate awareness of applicable codes and standards including ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, OISD etc
