Lead Engineer- Piping (21883)

Execute projects as a Lead Engineer for medium size complex Project or as an Area Engineer for Large size project Plan, monitor, and control piping engineering activities to meet project scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives Review basic engineering packages, contract requirements, client standards, and licensor specifications and establish project design basis and piping work instructions Prepare and monitor project deliverable list, resource plans, and man-hour estimates Review critical piping engineering documents such as piping material specifications, Layout design basis, stress design basis, MTOs etc. Develop and review plot plans, equipment layouts, and process-critical piping studies Conduct reviews with Client, licensor and PMC for Plot plan and Equipment layouts. Lead model reviews with Client, PMC and other stakeholders Coordinate closely with stress, support, material, layout, and 3D design teams for efficient project execution Ensure effective management of piping interfaces with all engineering disciplines and external agencies Support and participate in HSE, HSSE, constructability, and design safety reviews. Monitor and guide third-party engineering contractors, where applicable Perform the man-hour estimation activities for tender projects Adequate awareness of applicable codes and standards including ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, OISD etc. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and designers within the piping team

Experience Level Required - 15+ years

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/chemical engineering as a minimum
