Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD
- Develop Concept, SD, DD, IFC, and Authority Submission drawing packages
- Prepare and update drawings for DDA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Nakheel, DEWA, and other authority submissions
- Ensure drawings comply with Dubai Building Code and authority requirements
- Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP, Interior Design, and Site teams
- Revise drawings based on authority comments, consultant feedback, and site requirements
- Maintain drawing registers and project documentation
- Support the project team during submission and construction stages
- Deliver drawings accurately and within project deadlines
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience
- Advanced AutoCAD skills (mandatory)
- Experience preparing authority submission packages in Dubai
- Strong understanding of Dubai authority requirements and approval processes
- Ability to coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines
- Experience in detailed design and construction documentation

About the Role
- EMKAAN Architectural & Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Architectural Draftsman to join our Dubai office.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing architectural drawings, authority submission packages, detailed design documentation, and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects across Dubai.
- The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, experience with Dubai authorities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD.

- Experience with DDA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and Nakheel submissions.
- Basic understanding of BIM coordination processes.
