Role Overview
Architect responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, documenting, and overseeing architectural projects from initial concept through construction and completion.
The role combines creative design, technical expertise, project coordination, documentation, site supervision, regulatory compliance, and construction administration.
Design and Documentation
- Develop architectural concepts, design strategies, spatial layouts, and project proposals based on client requirements, site conditions, budgets, and objectives.
- Prepare drawings, plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, specifications, technical reports, presentation materials, 2D documentation, 3D models, and BIM models.
- Develop designs through conceptual design, detailed design, tender, construction, and project completion stages.
- Maintain accurate drawings, models, specifications, project records, correspondence, approvals, and technical documentation.
Coordination and Construction
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, landscape, interior, and other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material samples, technical submittals, method statements, and requests for information.
