- Previous experience in summer camps or similar educational environments in the UAE or GCC region is highly desirable
- Willingness to work on site in Dubai for the full two month summer camp period

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role for an Arabic Tutor for Summer Camp (two months) based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The Arabic Tutor will plan and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons for children, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills appropriate to their age and level.
- The tutor will design interactive activities, games, and projects that make learning Arabic enjoyable and culturally meaningful within a summer camp setting.
- Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and materials, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- The tutor will collaborate with camp coordinators and other staff to align activities with camp schedules, ensure student safety and wellbeing, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Arabic (native or near native) with clear communication skills and the ability to explain concepts in age appropriate, engaging ways.
- Experience teaching Arabic to children in classroom, camp, or tutoring settings, with demonstrated ability to manage groups and maintain a supportive learning environment.
- Skill in planning lessons, designing interactive activities, and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles and levels.
- Ability to foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere, with strong classroom management, patience, and empathy.
- Effective collaboration and organizational skills, including coordinating with colleagues, following camp schedules, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Arabic Language, Linguistics, or a related field preferred; relevant teaching certifications or training are an advantage.
- Previous experience in summer camps, after school programs, or similar educational environments in the UAE or GCC region is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work on site in Dubai for the full two month summer camp period, with flexibility for camp timings and activities.
