Aquatic Technical, Coordinator

• A relevant degree (e.g. animal science) or substantial specialist experience within the animal technology or research sector, with the ability to operate effectively in complex research environments.
• Ability to support teams across highly regulated facilities, with well-developed problem-solving skills and adaptability within dynamic environments.

supervising, training, and mentoring staff or students, with a collaborative approach to building capability and maintaining high operational standards.

• Demonstrated commitment to best-practice animal welfare, husbandry, biosafety, and biosecurity, supported by sound knowledge of regulatory and ethical frameworks.
• Proven experience drafting and following Standard Operating Procedures, including accurate record keeping and compliance-driven data management.
• Hands-on technical capability, including experience with euthanasia and exposure to advanced animal procedures, considered advantageous.
