Work Arrangement
- The role is fully remote in the United Arab Emirates.
Role Overview
Lead aquaculture production, stock health, water quality, feeding, hatchery or grow-out operations, biosecurity, facilities, workforce, budgets, compliance, and performance.
Apply practical aquaculture expertise, operational leadership, data analysis, financial management, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability.
Production Operations
- Develop production strategies and plans covering stocking, feeding, growth, health, harvesting, and biomass targets.
- Manage hatchery, nursery, grow-out, pond, tank, cage, or recirculating systems as applicable.
- Monitor biomass, survival, growth, feed performance, production costs, and key production indicators.
Health and Water Quality
- Establish monitoring programs for temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, salinity, ammonia, nitrite, alkalinity, turbidity, and related parameters.
- Implement aquatic animal health, disease prevention, biosecurity, quarantine, acclimation, handling, and transfer procedures.
