Role Overview
The role focuses on making AI experiences in Cohere's North workspace platform reliable, useful, and production-ready.
The engineer will turn model capabilities into user-facing systems such as agent builders, evaluation frameworks, proactive intelligence, and interfaces for collaborating with AI.
The work spans product engineering, modeling, design, customer teams, and domain experts.
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered experiences for creating, configuring, evaluating, and improving workflows.
- Design workflow builders, proactive assistants, review flows, and other human-AI collaboration interfaces.
- Build evaluation, observability, and feedback systems for enterprise workflows.
- Improve reliability through prompting, context construction, tool-use strategies, instrumentation, and feedback loops.
- Convert production failures, user feedback, and task data into better behavior, evaluation suites, regression tests, and modeling signals.
