Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Support customer improvements in project cost, quality, performance, and development time.
• Manage multiple customer activities and coordinate priorities with account managers.
• Deliver demonstrations, evaluations, competitive benchmarking, training, and problem resolution.
• Participate in account planning and translate customer needs into Synopsys solutions.
• Develop expertise in additional tools and methodologies and strengthen account-management skills.

Technical Expertise

• ASIC implementation experience should include placement, optimization, clock-tree synthesis, and routing.
• Required knowledge includes Synopsys back-end tools, timing closure, macro placement, advanced-node routing, and static timing analysis with noise analysis.
• Preferred knowledge includes RTL-to-GDSII flow, H-Tree and MS-CTS methodologies, front-end synthesis, and STA tools.
• Expected back-end tools include Fusion Compiler, IC Compiler II, and Innovus.

Qualifications

• Advanced-node design methodology knowledge and strong interest are required.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills are mandatory.
• BSEE or equivalent with 10 or more years of experience, or MSEE or equivalent with 7 or more years of experience, is required.
• Customer sensitivity, prioritization, and a desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential.
