As part of the team, the Applications Engineer & Quotations Specialist is responsible for developing technical and commercial quotations for ANEMA Motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and drive systems. This role partners closely with customers, sales teams, and project stakeholders to develop engineered solutions, review technical requirements, and support successful project execution throughout the customer lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to proposal development, forecasting, quality management, contract review, and customer consultation, with a particular focus on applications within mining and other heavy industrial environments.
This position offers remote work flexibility; however, preference will be given to candidates located in or near Edmonton, Calgary, or Toronto.

Electrical Engineering degree, Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent.
Eligible for E.I.T., C.E.T., P.Eng., or P.Tech. (Eng.) designation.
5+ years of experience in mining and other heavy industrial sectors (e.g., metals, oil & gas, pulp & paper, marine).
Experience with industrial equipment applications in the mining, oil & gas, pulp & paper industries is preferred.
Strong knowledge of motors, VFDs, power systems, switchgear, motor control, and electrical integration.
Experience developing or supporting engineered industrial solutions and drive systems.
Familiarity with project documentation, including manuals, drawing submittals, and ITPs.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, customer-focused problem solver who can manage competing priorities.
Experience with ANEMA Motors and Siemens/Innomotics drive technologies is an asset.
