As an Applications Developer 2, you will perform the following duties: Programming Tasks: Develop and maintain web applications using tools such as Microsoft .NET, ASP.Net Core, C#, SQL, XML, and FTP System Testing: Create test cases, set up test environments, and coordinate system testing with business owners Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot application issues, respond to ServiceNow requests, and evaluate operations to correct system problems Documentation Work: Create and update documentation, prepare system requirement documents, and manage versions using Azure DevOps Project Leadership: Provide direction in project planning, establish requirements, and monitor application development progress Additional Tasks: Perform other assigned duties, including responsibilities under the Department CoG Plan when activated Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Applications Developer 1 or Computer Programmer 3; or Four years of information technology experience that includes two years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or Two years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or A bachelor's degree in any information technology field. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
