This position oversees inspection programs and directs staff within the Radiation Protection Program to support public health and environmental safety. As a Radiation Protection Program Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Program Oversight: Manage radioactive materials and non-medical x-ray inspection programs in the Central Field Division Staff Guidance: Assign inspections, review work products, and support qualification requirements for inspectors Emergency Response: Participate in drills and respond to radiological emergencies across the Commonwealth Regulation Support: Assist with developing regulations, policies, and procedures for radiological activities Administrative Review: Approve leave requests, timesheets, and training submissions for staff Data Management: Maintain accurate entries in departmental electronic data systems to meet quality standards Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Special Requirement: This position requires p ossession of an active non-commercial PA Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
