Role Overview
Support a global eTrading environment for a leading investment banking client.
Work within a production and application support function for critical electronic trading platforms.
Operate in a complex, low-latency environment with high-volume trading flows and global support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production support activities, including monitoring, incident management, and capacity planning.
- Resolve issues with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
- Own assigned applications and platforms and develop deep technical expertise.
- Support pricing engines, algorithmic trading components, and STP workflows.
- Manage connectivity to exchanges, ECNs, and market data providers.
- Improve system resilience, scalability, and performance.
- Coordinate release and change management activities.
- Participate in shift-based and on-call support, including occasional weekend work.
- Collaborate with teams across Europe, North America, and Asia.
- Improve documentation, monitoring, and operational processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong application support experience in electronic trading or capital markets.
