Role overview
The Application Support Developer is part of Fidelity Clearing Canada's technology team in a technical support and development role.
The role maintains production applications, responds to incidents, supports releases and enhancements, and develops application solutions for internal and external clients.
Work arrangement
- The role is performed on a 100% remote schedule as part of Fidelity's dynamic working arrangement.
- Current work authorization for Canada is required.
Application support
- Respond to technical problems requiring immediate solutions and manage client incident ticket queues.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients when required.
- Update technical documents and procedures to reflect the current state.
- Support application deployments and assist with systems integration.
- Collaborate with the offshore Application Development Support Team.
- Support enhancements and maintenance fixes across FCC, FIL, FIC, and vendor systems.
- Follow technology policies, minimize risks, and adhere to change management practices.
