Role Overview
Synopsys is hiring a Physical Design Specialist for its Customer Application Services team.
The role supports sales and adoption of Synopsys products for advanced semiconductor design and verification projects.
The position focuses on physical design methodologies, customer technical support, and account collaboration.
Role Responsibilities
- Support product sales and adoption by helping customers improve project cost, quality, performance, and development time.
- Apply placement, synthesis, clock tree synthesis, routing, static timing analysis, and timing optimization expertise.
- Articulate Synopsys design methodologies for advanced nodes below 5nm using the Full RTL-to-GDSII solution.
- Manage multiple customer activities and coordinate priorities with account managers and management.
- Provide demonstrations, evaluations, competitive benchmarking, training, problem resolution, and technical account management.
- Participate in account planning and develop solutions to customer design problems.
- Interact with customer end users and first-level managers, including at customer sites.
Key Qualifications
- ASIC design implementation experience using industry-standard placement, optimization, clock tree synthesis, and routing tools.
