Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Application Engineer to act as the Technical Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Aerospace and Defence laboratories. The role involves partnering closely with Defence customers, understanding their simulation workflows and technical challenges, and coordinating ANSYS capabilities and CADFEM expertise to deliver consistent, high-quality technical engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- · Serve as the primary technical SPOC for assigned Aerospace & Defence accounts, building long-term, trust-based relationships.
- · Develop a strong understanding of customer program goals, simulation workflows, and infrastructure.
- · Position the ANSYS Multi-physics portfolio in alignment with defence requirements across structures, fluids, electronics, and systems.
- · Coordinate technical engagements across presales, support, consulting, and training teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- · Lead technical discussions, discovery sessions, and periodic reviews with customer engineering teams.
- · Ensure timely follow-up, quality responses, and effective handling of technical queries or escalations.
- · Identify opportunities for advanced simulation workflows, cross-physics coupling, and expanded adoption within Aerospace and Defence laboratories.
