Role Overview
Application Engineer role focused on AC equipment sales support, technical applications, selections, and design.
The role requires 5 to 8 years of experience in AC equipment sales and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical sales support on AC equipment applications, selections, and design.
- Support customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders with technical guidance.
- Support business development through technical input for proposals and presentations.
- Select, size, configure, and optimize AC equipment against design data.
- Build customer relationships and provide technical HVAC solutions.
- Prepare engineering proposals, estimates, quotations, BOQs, equipment summaries, cost sheets, and presentations.
- Prepare ACAD line diagrams and follow up independently with clients.
- Perform chilled water, DX, and VRF equipment selections.
- Perform ESP and pump head calculations and use duct and pipe sizing software.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and AC equipment, including selection, design, installation, and operation.
- Proven application engineering experience is required.
- Candidates must be able to prepare proposals, estimates, quotations, and client follow-up independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
- Very good proficiency in HAP, ACAD, and Microsoft Office is required.
- Candidates must be able to prepare quotations, BOQs, equipment summaries, cost estimate sheets, line diagrams, proposals, and presentations.
- Candidates must be able to optimize chilled water, DX, and VRF selections and perform ESP and pump head calculations.
- Sales background is an added advantage.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Work location is in person.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 7,000 to AED 8,000 per month.
