Application Engineer

Company Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare tenders and bills of materials for cable channels, cable containment, and cable ladders.
• Develop techno-commercial solutions, engineering drawings, and technical submittals.
• Process purchase order technical work from drawing preparation through bill of materials release for production.
• Prepare final project documentation according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate with local assembly, manufacturing, operations, quality, Sales, and factories.
• Support specification review, product selection, costing, proposal generation, cost-out projects, and materials localization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

• Interpret electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and cable routing plans.
• Understand cable tray types and materials, including ladder, perforated, wire mesh, GI, stainless steel, aluminum, and FRP.
• Apply NEC, IEC, NEMA, BS, and related cable management standards.
• Prepare cable tray layouts, bills of materials, cost estimates, and technical submittals.
• Review customer RFQs, drawings, specifications, and end-user requirements.
