Job Description – Mobile Application Engineer v1.2
The Mobile Application Engineer requires demonstrable knowledge of programming and application development.
They develop purpose-built software for our clients to use.
They collaborate with other members of the development team on projects and incorporate client feedback into the software development lifecycle.
Include
- Producing efficient and maintainable code based on defined requirements
- Testing and deploying programs and applications
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software
- Reviewing and assessing user feedback to improve software performance and features
- Aiding in the software development lifecycle with a team of IT professionals, business analysts, and end-users to define solutions to real-world problems
Requirements Include
- 2+ years of experience building iOS and Android apps using React Native
- Familiarity using a styling framework like NativeWind
- Either a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical work experience
- Working knowledge of databases specifically SQLite
- Ability and flexibility to learn new technology
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Experience using source control technologies like Git
Nice to have
- Understanding of Unit Testing and its practical application to development
- Proficient with C# and .NET
- Understanding of the agile software development process
- Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps
